Diaphragm Pulse Valve Diaphrgam Valve

Meridian, in partnership with Turbo, one of the leading manufacturer of specialist 'blow down' valves offers a wide range of these Valves . Designed for service in reverse pulse type dust filters, these are solenoid operated diaphragm valves used for automatic filter cleaning.

Short, concussive pulses of compressed air are powered down into rows of filter bags to break the dust from the fabric so that it can easily be collected in a hopper ready for disposal.

Electronic Pulse Controller

Now recognised as the heart of the filter cleaning mechanism, pulse controllers have developed into sophisticated electronic management systems with the potential to optimise the performance of the dust filter. At the same time they reduce maintenance and running costs.

Modern pulse control systems not only actuate the pulse cleaning function but are also capable of integrating external sensors. The ability to monitor and control every element of the dust filter ensures optimum performance and compliance with dust emission limits - monitoring filter bag condition, emission levels, hopper levels and controlling the fan.

Meridian offers a complete range of electronic pulse controllers featured microprocessor based technology from standard off the shelf units though to custom-made systems.

Compressed Air Header Tanks

The Meridian range of compressed air header tanks are manufactured from high quality Carbon Steel Pipe, Hardened Anodised Aluminium and Stainless Steel 304. They are fabricated in accordance with the essential safety requirements of Simple Pressure Directive 87/404/EEC and PED97/23/CE .

They are available from 5" to 10" diameters with outlets to suit any make of diaphragm pulse valves and supplied with mounting brackets for easy installation. Meridian can provide the Turbo Diaphragm Pulse Valves with the tank should you so require .

Filter Cartridges Dust Control Cartridges

Meridian Controls offer a comprehensive range of Pleated Filter Cartridges, Pleated Bags and Pleated Cell Filters in a wide variety of standard fittings and in non-woven, spun bonded polyester and polypropylene with a variety of surface finishes.

The Filter Cartridge range is available in diameters of 115mm, 125mm, 150mm, 225mm, & 325mm.

Pleated Filter Bags for retro-fitting in either top loading or bottom loading configurations. Length up to 2m and surface area up to 6.5m2.

Pleated Cell Filters with surface areas from 2m2 up to 12m2.

Workmec is a long established European manufacturer of Filter Cages with a plant equipped with state of the art CNC welding machines & automatic weld checking equipment to produce high quality Filter Cages at competitive prices.

Design: From standard designs to custom made specials, the Workmec Filter Cages are available in a variety of configuration ns – circular; diamond; star; oval and flat.

Blow Tubes and Bulkhead Connectors Bulk Head Connectors

Blow tubes are designed to obtain maximum satisfactory cleaning performance in a Reverse Jet Pulse Dust Filters. However the importance of the design of the Blow Tubes is often overlooked causing miss-use of valuable compressed air and adversely affecting the performance of the Pulse Jet cleaning system

Meridians "P” series Bulkhead Connectors are an ideal solution for the connection of the Blow Tubes to the Pulse valves at the same time as sealing the wall of the Bag Filter. By using this compression type couplings you save time and money and avoid the need for welding or screw cutting.Manufactured in die-cast aluminium in 4 sizes — ¾", 1", 1½" and now new to the range in 2" . Available in single ended - for one-piece Blow Tubes or in double ended model for a two-piece Blow Tube.

FDM / FDP25 combined 25mm pulse valve/ bulkhead connector FDM Series

The new Turbo FDP25 Valve combines a high performance 25mm Diaphragm Pulse Valve with an integral Bulkhead Connector to provide a simple, low cost solution to installation on a reverse pulse Dust Collector.The FDP25 has female G1” threaded inlet port for connection to the compressed air Header Tank and a ‘Dresser’ style quick mount connection on the outlet port to suit a 1” blow tube (33.4mm O.D.)

If ordered with a Turbo CE certified Header Tank, the FDM/FDP25 will be supplied ready assembled onto the Tank to further reduce the cost of installation. Available with either an G1/8” remote pilot or an integral IP65 solenoid pilot operator which is also available for ATEX Zone 1/21 and 2/22 hazardous areas.
